In late 2021, the Kurdish writer Shirzad Alkadhi released a specialized military Kurdish dictionary entitled “Kurdish Military Dictionary” through the independent publishing house “Amazon”, within 273 pages.

The dictionary presents a wide range of military terms carefully selected, translated and defined by the author.

It also contains a pronunciation guide for Kurmanji Kurdish letters and words, as well as lists of abbreviations of military terms, ranks in the appendices.

In order to reach a higher level of understanding during reading the dictionary, the author used more than one word to clarify the meanings of some military terms and explain their concepts in the Kurdish language.

It is worth noting that Shirzad Alkadhi has published a number of books on the Kurdish language and culture, including “The Legend of Kawa.”
